Eyes of the Blind Released

October 29, 2018

16 drafts. 75,922 words (that I kept). 9 beta reads. 1 editor. 3 years, 1 month, and 14 days of dreaming, learning, doubting, struggling, and hoping. It’s finally here.

Publishing a book has been compared to having a baby, but I think a more apt analogy would be to raising a child once they’re born. They start as this tiny, helpless little thing – an idea, that you aren’t entirely sure what to do with – and you have to nurture them as they grow, learn to stand on their own feet, figure out who they are, and finally set off into the world on their own.

I’d like to give a huge thanks to my editor, Marissa, and to my beta readers, who helped me figure out when the picture on the page didn’t match the one in my head:

Abbye
Alex
Ashley
Cynthia
Evan
Mom & Dad
Sandy

And to my family and friends who’ve encouraged and supported me along the way: I can’t tell you how much your enthusiasm has helped.

Print versions can be ordered from your local indie bookseller or B&N. eBook and print versions from the big A are here.

I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
